What an incredible opening week it has been! The energy across campus with all the students returning has been extraordinarily positive. Our staff are energized, making plans for all the learning and experiences that are to come; students are smiling, making new friends and connecting with old ones; and the school year is officially off to a wonderful start!
Our New Student Orientation on the first day went so well for our Junior, Middle and Senior Students. Thank you to Middle and Senior School Ambassador Buddies who are doing a phenomenal job guiding and supporting our newest students, and to our Student Ambassadors who this week and next will continue to help our youngest students to their classrooms every morning.
It was also wonderful seeing so many of you at Meet the Teacher, which offered a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with your children’s teachers and learn more about the daily rhythms of the classroom. We wrapped up our kickoff day with a vibrant Back to School Celebration complete with food trucks, socializing, a garden teacher band, and a special guest, the UA Lion (who we believe needs a name very soon), that brought our whole community together!
A special thank you to all of our parents for navigating the drop-off and pick-up routines so seamlessly. Transitions have been exceptionally smooth thanks to your cooperation and patience. Thank you for your continued partnership in making these first days so memorable. It’s going to be a truly great year!
Yours in education,
Ms. Dadar, Junior School Principal
