Students will be performing a song and choreographed performance together. Additionally, Grade 8 student Alayna V has been working with the Grade 3 students to create kindness cards to give to the residents at KCC, so she will attend as well to distribute these cards. This experience connects to the FPPL "Learning ultimately supports the well-being of the self, the family, the community, the land, the spirits, and the ancestors" and "Learning is holistic, reflexive, reflective, experiential, and relational (focused on connectedness, on reciprocal relationships, and a sense of place)" because by continuing to build relationships between the youth in our school and the senior residents in our community, we are allowing students to share joy with their neighbours and bring the community closer and more connected.
