Urban Academy Alumni
Urban Academy graduates reach great heights. To date, each of our grads has followed their dreams and passions, going on to attend a wide variety of schools and programs. We are proud that 100% of our graduates receive a placement in one of the top two post-secondary institutions of their choice. These include top business, engineering, science and arts institutions locally and abroad.

Supporting Dreams
Our goal is to help students reach their full potential. We understand that it looks different for each child. By working with students and including parents in the planning, we begin in Grade 9 by allowing for time to work with their Post-Secondary and Academic Counsellor on their plans after graduation. Plans begin to take more of a formal shape throughout their grad program of Grades 10–12, but our goal is to encourage them to apply for at least three of their top choice schools and programs to allow the doors to open. Which door they choose to walk through is up to the student and family, but preparing them for lifelong success in their schooling and life, that’s our business
A Variety Of Interests
Our graduates have a wide variety of interests, and we pride ourselves on what well-rounded citizens they become. As a result, UA Alumni pursue a range of programs in their post-secondary studies. Approximately a quarter will choose a program in General Arts, a quarter choose Sciences, a quarter select Fine and Performing Arts, and the last quarter will be balanced between Business, Economics Technology and Engineering.
With a range of leadership opportunities, they have a significant amount of leadership experience both within the school and the wider community and continue to be contributors as Urban Academy Alumni.
