Next week, June begins! This means there will be camp opportunities for many UA students as well as end-of-year events, including Commencement and Graduation Celebration for the Class of 2025! We would also like to extend an invitation to our parents to the End-of-Year assembly taking place on the morning of June 20 (details below).
June also means that there are residents now settling into 150 Braid, meaning that the area surrounding our school’s entrance and sidewalks will naturally become more active. We’ll be working diligently over the next few weeks to test and refine our traffic management approach, which may involve small changes like two-way traffic, adding cones or adjusting staff positions.
Given this is a new phase, our strategies may evolve daily as we determine what works best. We encourage you to approach these changes with patience and flexibility, and to extend kindness to fellow families and neighbours.
Please be aware of:
- New patterns of vehicles entering and exiting 150 Braid.
- More pedestrians and pets are utilizing the shared driveway.
Our operations team is in ongoing communication with Wesgroup’s building managers to ensure a coordinated effort in managing these shared spaces. Your cooperation and understanding are truly appreciated as we navigate this exciting new development in our neighbourhood.
