The UA Winter Concert is always a wonderful opportunity that brings our community together. What an entertaining evening it was at the Massey Theatre on Wednesday. The talent and hard work of our students and staff truly shone through, bringing some holiday spirit to the audience!
I’m excited to share some great news about our new Student Leadership Committee. After a thoughtful selection process, we have an incredible group of 13 Grade 8-12 students ready to take on this important role. Their enthusiasm and fresh ideas will undoubtedly enhance our school. I can’t wait to see the positive impact they will have after the break.
Thank you to everyone for an amazing start to the school year! Each year, I’m continually impressed by how our school evolves. The quality of our community—from students and families to staff and the Board of Directors—is truly exceptional. It’s a privilege to work at UA and to be part of such a supportive environment. On behalf of our staff, I also want to express our gratitude for the generous gifts and treats received this week. Your thoughtfulness makes us feel truly appreciated!
As we look ahead to the new year, I feel a sense of optimism and hope. I’m excited to see what 2025 has in store for us, and I know it will be filled with energy and new adventures. I hope you all take time to relax and enjoy the holidays with your loved ones. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with family and friends over the break, and maybe even embarking on a couple of adventures myself!!
Wishing you all the best, and I can’t wait to see everyone back in 2025!
Yours in education,
Mr. Slinger
