Our team works hard to make the application process as straight forward as possible, guiding you in helping determine if Urban Academy is the right fit for your family. We follow an age-appropriate admissions process for each applicant.
2025/26 School Year Applications
Limited space remains for the 2025/26 school year. Families interested in enrolling for September 2025 are encouraged to contact our Admissions team to inquire about availability by grade.
2026/27 School Year ApplicationS
Applications for the 2026/27 school year will open on September 1, 2025. We encourage families to note the important deadlines for the admissions process.
- Kindergarten (born in 2021) application deadline: Friday, November 14, 2025
- Grades 1–12 early application deadline: Friday, January 30, 2026
- Junior Kindergarten (born in 2022) application deadline: Friday, February 13, 2026
Note: assessment dates and additional details will be shared with applicant families after the application deadline.

At our Admissions Information Webinars, you will be able to learn about our approach to education and get a good idea about what becoming part of the community could look like.
open house tours
Explore the school with Student Ambassadors as tour guides and Teaching and Admissions staff present to answer your questions. Open Houses take place about once a month after school, where you can drop in anytime between 3:45 pm-5:45 pm on select dates.
OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Our process is designed to evaluate students based on aptitude, personality, educational goals and ultimately, fit. We focus on getting to know each potential student and the Admissions Committee will make our admissions decision based on a plethora of criteria.
