UA Gala
A significant fundraising event that helps us equip students with the necessary opportunities and materials required for an exceptional education is our Annual Urban Academy Gala. The parent-run Gala Committee plans an exciting evening event in May that truly is helping us to build our dream. Over 250 parents and community members join us for dinner, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and the always anticipated student art showcase.

Double down with fellow parents and friends, enjoy cocktails at happy hour, food, dancing, entertainment and a student art display. This year, for those who like a little risk, there will be lively games of blackjack, craps and roulette. Each ticket comes with gaming chips to get you started. Plus, we’ll have a silent and always exciting live auction where you can roll the dice on some coveted items.
High rollers and beginners are welcome to this adult only event! Come for the games, or come for the celebration. Either way, call a friend and come to Urban Academy’s largest fundraising event of the year!

LIVE AND SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
Our Gala Procurement Team is currently gathering items for the silent and live auction portions of the event. Do you have tickets to shows or sporting events? Perhaps a timeshare in Mexico or a condo in Whistler that you could contribute for a weekend? Or other fun experiences or items to donate to the auction? If so, fill in the donation form and email it to gala@urbanacademy.ca to connect and share your ideas.
