BACK TO SCHOOL BARBEQUE & OPEN HOUSE Thank-you for joining us for the barbeque which was held September 1. It was a great opportunity for the community to meet and extend a warm welcome to our new families.
HIGH SCHOOL Urban Academy will establish a High School program starting with Grade 10 in September 2010 going through to Grade 12 by 2012. We are accepting applications for Grade 10 now!
Only 10 spaces are being offered. The post-secondary preparatory high school program will feature an enriched math & sciences program, international travel, fine arts electives, a life skills course, leadership program, and an environmentally sensitive curriculum.
YEAR OF GIVING The 2010-2011 school year will be the "Year of Giving". The previous school year was the "Year of Innovation". We're also celebrating our 10th year anniversary.
