BACK TO SCHOOL BARBEQUE & OPEN HOUSE
Thank-you for joining us for the barbeque which was held September 1. It was a great opportunity for the community to meet and extend a warm welcome to our new families.

HIGH SCHOOL
Urban Academy will establish a High School program starting with Grade 10 in September 2010 going through to Grade 12 by 2012. We are accepting applications for Grade 10 now!

Only 10 spaces are being offered. The post-secondary preparatory high school program will feature an enriched math & sciences program, international travel, fine arts electives, a life skills course, leadership program, and an environmentally sensitive curriculum.

YEAR OF GIVING
The 2010-2011 school year will be the "Year of Giving". The previous school year was the "Year of Innovation". We're also celebrating our 10th year anniversary.

Admissions

Dear Future Urban Academy Families

The first step in exploring the possibility of enrolling your child at Urban Academy is to contact us and book a school tour. During this tour you will be able to see classes in session. If you wish, your child can participate in a class so that you can see first hand the excellent teaching methods of our staff and the great social skills of Urban Academy students. Also, as part of the tour you can receive an application package. Upon receiving your application form and fee, you will be contacted to book your parent/child visit with our Head of School, Michael Bouchard.

Limited spaces are available in most of our classes. We are currently experiencing great interest in our school and encourage you to contact us in a timely fashion.
